How many participants will be in the study?

We will be recruiting 1800 patients who are scheduled for total knee replacement surgery over two years.

Will being in the study affect my care before, during or after my knee surgery?

No – you will not have any changes in your care if you are a part of the study.

How long is each study visit?

Study visits vary in length. When setting up the appointments, the research assistant will give you an estimated time for the length of the study visit.

Do I get paid for being in the study?

You will be paid up to $500 for participating in the study. Payment will depend on the completed activities and the total will be split up over the course of the study.

Is parking paid for?

You will receive a parking voucher for your study visits.
